Episode 8 – Challenging Narratives

On this month’s episode, Post Media columnist Paula Simons challenges accepted narratives about Alberta’s history in her contribution to High Level Lit. High Level Lit is a Canada 150 project that is bringing 12 writers together to discuss Canada’s sesquicentennial through an Edmonton lens. Maria Almond tells us how the Don and Norine Lowry Awards for Women of Excellence are helping her pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration at NAIT. And, we hear about some impressive youth initiatives made possible by Edmonton Community Foundation’s Young Edmonton Grants Program.
