On this episode, we follow the life and career of Greg Davis, publisher of Melanistic Magazine and co-founder of Edmonton’s Black Community Fund (EBCF).
Join us as we learn about his journey from growing up in Jamaica and taking one of the strangest college courses in Toronto, to cutting his teeth in the publishing industry in Japan and becoming a pillar of strength in his community here in Edmonton.
Edmonton’s Black Community Fund will provide long-lasting support to Black-led and -serving organizations and projects. Edmonton Community Foundation has also committed $100,000 in matching funding for all donations made to the EBCF in 2021. You can learn more about the fund and how to give here.
